Child & Adolescent Neuropsychiatry
Dr. McCormack, his Physician
Assistant Lauren Willis, and
our advanced practice nurse, Maureen Killeen, PhD CNS, provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management
/ psychopharmacology (often in conjunction with limited supportive, cognitive-behavioral, and insight oriented psychotherapies)
to children, adolescents, university students, and their families.
Adult & Geriatric Neuropsychiatry
psychiatrists, Nurse practitioners, & PAs also provide evaluations and medication management
for adults, and their
interests include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and adult ADHD. Dr. McCormack also performs more intensive individual
psychotherapy to adolescents and adults on a fee-for-service basis.
Blaine Everson, PhD provides
family psychotherapy, couples therapy, group therapy, and individual therapy to adults, children, and adolescents.
Rita Macari, LPC provides
psychotherapy to adults & adolescents and play therapy to children.
Psychological assessment for depression, Bipolar disorder,
anxiety disorders, and developmental disorders is
available by means of normed rating
scales. ADHD assessment via Neuropsychiatric EEG-Based
Assessment Aid for ADHD (NEBA®), normed
rating scales, & other appropriate Neuropsychological tests is also available.
Psychoeducational screening for learning disabilities or giftedness is also available, while more in-depth assessment of learning
difficulties is available on site through
our partnership with Athens Educational Services.
